What a paper health record can’t do
Your pet’s whole health history on one timeline
Vaccinations, medications, deworming and flea & tick protection on a single chart. See what is active today, what is about to run out and what was given a month ago. Filter by entry type or switch to a chronological list — handy when the vet asks when the last antibiotic was.
Vaccine validity of 1, 2 or 3 years — per component
A combination vaccine protects against several diseases, but not every component lasts equally long. In Bondly each component has its own validity and its own reminder: e.g. distemper and parvovirus for 3 years, parainfluenza for 1 year. The product catalog suggests the defaults, and you can change them to match your vet’s record.
Deworming and flea & tick tracked separately — 2-in-1 products entered once
A dewormer works on the day it is given, while flea & tick protection lasts for weeks, so Bondly tracks them differently: a dose log and a protection end date. When you give a 2-in-1 product (e.g. Simparica Trio or Stronghold), you enter it once and it shows up in both places, marked “also: deworming”.
The paper health record and documents on your phone
Take photos of the health record booklet, insurance policy, receipt or post-surgery notes. They go into built-in or custom folders on your pet’s profile (up to 100 photos per pet). When the paper stays at home, the copy is on hand.
One shared profile — reminders for every caretaker
Invite family or a pet sitter by QR code or email — everyone sees the same, up-to-date history. Reminders are sent from our server, so every caretaker gets them, even someone who hasn’t opened the app in weeks. Medications show who gave each dose, so nobody gives a second one.

When you still need the paper
- Rabies vaccination is confirmed by your vet’s entry and stamp in the health record or pet passport.
- Travelling with a dog or cat to another EU country requires an EU pet passport.
- Boarding kennels, shows or breeders may ask for the original.

Does Bondly replace the paper pet health record or pet passport?+
Not formally. Your vet’s entries and stamps in the health record or pet passport (e.g. rabies vaccination, travel abroad) remain the official document. Bondly is your digital copy and organizer: it keeps the full history and photos of documents, and tracks the due dates.
What can I store in Bondly’s pet health record?+
Vaccinations with validity and next due date, medications with dose history, deworming, flea & tick protection, vet visits with attachments, weight, documents, notes and the heat cycle.
How do I record a 3-year vaccine where one component lasts 1 year?+
Choose the combination vaccine and set the validity of each component separately, e.g. distemper and parvovirus 3 years, leptospirosis or parainfluenza 1 year. Bondly reminds you about each component when it is due.
Do reminders arrive if I don’t open the app?+
Yes. Reminders are sent from Bondly’s server, not only from your phone, so they arrive even if the app hasn’t been opened for weeks. Every caretaker of a shared pet gets them (as long as notifications are enabled).
How do I track deworming and flea & tick protection separately?+
Deworming is a log of doses with a reminder for the next one; flea & tick protection is a product with the date it stops working. A 2-in-1 product (e.g. Simparica Trio) is entered once and appears in both.
Can I keep health records for more than one pet?+
Yes. Bondly supports multiple dogs and cats — each has its own profile, health history and reminders, and dogs and cats have separate vaccine and product catalogs.
Can I share the health record with family or a pet sitter?+
Yes. Share the profile by QR code or email invitation. The co-caretaker sees the same health history in real time and gets the reminders, and depending on the permissions you grant can also add entries.
Is the health history available without internet?+
Yes, you can browse your pet’s health history offline — e.g. at a vet’s office with no signal or while travelling. Changes sync once you’re back online.
